What better way to start this blog by reviewing a book that I read or still in the midst of finishing it.
The book title 永遠的平行線 by Middle or in English term, "The same horizon" or "Constant horizon " or however you want to call it. Halfway through this, a thought comes to mind, author prefer the reference to beach and watching the sea appear in almost every chapter, I would only deduce to the fact that Hong Kong is an Island state, so going to the beach, hangout by the rocking cliff and watching the sea or just taking in the sea breeze is of something that can be easily done.
That aside, by nature, I am a creature that adore reading like this, so, before I am finish with this book, this is all I would penned.
Ensue by my late post. Finish the book in personal record time, 2 days. The book itself prove to be a page turner. Probably the simplest story that I have come to read, or maybe it is just my instinct that something prevailing will ensue, whatever the reason was, I like this particular book.
The theme, play by the metaphor that relationship is like two horizontal lines that always by the side of one another. The twist, when one of the line break or paused if you may, what would appear happen to this blurry relationship. The foundation of each stories could be friend; meeting by chance at some party or gathering, best friend; extension from friend, now that they have develop connection that both can relate, or admirer; chasing the one that they truly loved. Each stories entail with emotional turmoils, its a cliche story lines, though this is very much happening everywhere, I would say so myself.
I would recommend this book as an entry to the rest of middle's work.
